  1. Some BIOS may be the cause of a problem. Here is a partial list.
  2.  
  3. ALR-MPS (Microchannel)  are incompatible with IDE HD
  4.  
  5. AMI-  1987  can  cause  system re-boot,  1989  inermittant  UAEs  &  system
  6.      hangs, 1991 serial port mouse/modem problems.
  7.  
  8. AST- system lokcs, GP faults, on AST Premium 286
  9.  
  10. AWARD- before 3.05 cause floppy error. 3.1 is latest
  11.  
  12. DTK- before  rev35  WIndows run but no IDE  support,  rev35  wouldn't  run
  13.      Enhanced, rev36 requires Utils diabled in CMOS
  14.  
  15. QUADTEL- 3.05 req for Windows
  16.  
  17. PEAKDM- need rev1.30
  18.  
  19. Phoenix- all must be later than 1988
  20.  
  21. Toshiba- T3100/20 ver4.2+, T3100e 1.7+, T5200  during Windows set correctly
  22.  
  23. Tandon- keyboard failures w/ older rev.
  24.  
  25. Wyse- select wrong (84) keyboard - run Winows setup (outside Windows)
  26.  
  27. Zenith- 386/16 rev 2.6e+, 286 miss/repeat keystrokes. Turbosport  rev2.4D+,
